Creating a brand
people resonate
with

I helped MyMynd create its mission statement and reason why it existed and built the new brand around that.

I created a few landing page concepts to test with customers and a board of directors to determine what resonated more with people.

We used a temporary landing page as a placeholder while we built the new platform.

All of the images I generated were made in MidJourney. The brand and illustrations were refined as the project progressed.

Increasing
engagement with
engaging design

I wanted to ensure users felt good when using the product so they would keep coming back and help engagement.

Through sessions with users and internal testing at MyMynd we elevated the user experience of the dashboard by introducing a new UI experience with new branding.

I worked with the product team to introduce email reminders to help remind people to keep engaging with the platform.

I wanted to create duolingo style lessons to increase engagement, however there was not enough time.

Automating
manual
reports

Previously MyMynd would manually email a monthly PDF of an orgs mental health snapshot.

I worked with developers and data scientists to create an admin dashboard customers could access at anytime that shows trends, AI insights and recommended actions.

This new feature additionally increased engagement and freed up resources in the business.

Automating
Onboarding

Onboarding clients was heavily manual. I worked with SLT to map out the entire process.

I reduced it from 26 steps to 8 steps. I designed a new journey that offloaded some of the set-up onto the customer instead of MyMynd.

This freed up resource and allowed the onboarding process to scale extremely well.

Old 26 step onboarding process

New 8 step onboarding flow.

Reflections &
Learnings

I sometimes found it challenging to align with the founders on branding. Moving forward, I’ll approach such situations with the understanding that for some founders, their company feels like their child, making it difficult to let go or embrace change.

The biggest setback in this project was time. It took a lot of time to re-build a new platform and a lot of the interactive features got cut for the first phase.

The founders occasionally felt out of the loop as myself and the product team moved so quickly. Going forward, I’ll prioritise regular update sessions to ensure stakeholders feel informed and confident in the development process.
